OUR ORIGIN
Formerly Teksavers Apple Division — There at the Beginning
In the early 2000s, most organizations didn't have a plan for what happened to Apple devices at the end of their useful life. Devices sat in storage rooms, got donated without data wiping, or were written off entirely. The structured, documented, compliant device buyback model that schools and enterprises rely on today didn't exist yet.
The team behind Grayroc Technologies helped build it.
Operating as Teksavers Apple Division, we were among the original founding partners of the Apple device buyback program — working directly with Apple Finance Teams to create the processes, documentation standards, and logistics models that became the foundation of the industry. We weren't watching from the outside. We were in the room.
Over the following two decades, we processed more than 4.25 million devices across 3,100+ organizations — schools, enterprises, healthcare systems, and government agencies — establishing one of the longest track records in the industry.
